Welcome to my website...

I chose the name ‘CoreThread’ as a general term to encompass things I do.

As a mixed media and textile artist, the inspiration, challenge and activity of making creative pieces is a core part of me, and if I like what I create, even better! I am inspired by many things but especially by the natural world, and I have a particular interest in using recycled fabrics and packaging materials.

          • Norwich School of Art: Foundation Year in Art & Design
          • Goldsmiths College, London: BA Hons Degree in Embroidery & Textiles
I am a skilled and experienced designer, alterations hand and tailoress, and have enjoyed working with top designer ranges as well as bridal wear and traditionally hand-tailored garments.
